Been a minute since I did a Vlog or Blog so I figure I would hit y'all with a quick overveiw of a female showcase I went to, I was feel in the vibes and energy of the night, but I'mma let yall check it out and see for ya selves
If you have been keeping up with my moves, you know that last year I learned a new skill and been putting out some quality shit......if you are not f*ckin with me at this point you clearly one of those dudes that eat ramen noodles for thanksgiving, you clearly one of those chicks that brings 25 dudes on Maury and still cant find the baby father. In all seriousness though, my rapping capabilities, have been on point for years, but this is something I have just started doing last year and have taken it to the next level rather quickly. with no further procrastination I give you "NICE and SWEET" by 360 Degree
also my latest video was suppose to be completely shot by now but this snow storm bullsh*t slowed it down so I had to improvised a different concept to the video, and I provided some (BEHIND THE SCENES) video of that in this video
I went to the Overtime Concert with My dude Booda Smoke and he rocked shit out, I wish I had more footage to show you guys just how turnt the event was.
I also want to tell you guys about my journey into this newly found life of videography/rapping. This year in april (2013) I left my job because they were trying to cut my pay significantly but double the work load. I already was greatly displeased with the fact that I was working 60 plus hours a week, 6 days a week. Don't get me wrong this job was paying me well but I was never really able to enjoy that money, what the fuck was I suppose to spend this money on if all I do is work? should I buy nice clothes I cant wear because i'm only going to work? should I buy a car that I'm going to only drive to work? Not to mention I would spend my 10-12 hours at work upset, so with no kid and under the age of 30 why am I here making money I cant enjoy? Some people think I'm crazy for leaving that job like "NIGGA!! you were making BREAD" but I got ambitions that out weigh my want for material shit, I have a 20% chance at being successful in this rap/videography shit but I'm cool with taking that chance at happiness, oppose to doing something I hate for the rest of my life for 60,000 a year.
Now here I am am in November with my money running out and did not hit any of my goals, this is the opportunity for those dream killers and simple minded average people to jump in and say "SEE, YOU WERE CHASIN A PIPE DREAM, GO FOR REALISTIC GOALS". While things did not turn out how I wanted them to I can not quite chalk it up as a loss, like I gotta stop and think to myself...... since I left work I gained a whole new talent (videography), made several videos for myself and got paid to make videos for others (SIDE NOTE there are way more videos on the way, the clients just have not released the material as of yet), I dropped a mix tape and several videos for it (I'll get into that in a second). So even tho I'm not making lucrative money due to inconsistency with getting gigs, people trying to low ball me and random expenses popping up, I just cant consider this as a "L" or time wasted.
Let me get back into this mixtape situation. The mixtape was suppose to drop early last year but the featured artist were taking tooooooo long, there was only one free day at the studio and I wanted shit to be on point. I ended up dropping the mixtape for my birthday and it got a very unerwhelming reception but I expected that, which is why I had plans to deal with a promotion company to push the mixtape for me. I opted to not buy any promotion until I could get some steady income, so the project still will be promoted at some point. I also had plans to make another appearence on Worldstar hiphop in the summer but I didn't feel I had any quality vids to put on there.....aaaaaannnnddd that last video I had on WSHH wasn't of the greatest quality, so I wanted to make a good impression the 2nd time around. I never ended up putting a new video up there because my video was taking extremely long to get done and I was working on some one else's videos.
This aint no sad story though I'm working with someone who is known in the game and has the financials to give me the push I need, I maybe getting signed soon, but I wont reveal any of this just yet until things are more official. FOR NOW make sure you SUBSCRIBE to my youtube page to keep up with the moves I'm making and projects I'm working on LATA THO
