Whats going on in hip hop and such?

Its on some, this is Mar-q and I'm back with a new post. This one was a little difficult to do because....well sh*t just wasn't going down. Hip hop took some type of vacation, its like all the producers just went up to their children and said "yo......... that toy you got where you pull the lever and it makes some animal noise.....yeah that one, its bull shi*t, here take my mpc and make some beats". Its like rappers were on stage in mid performance and just said, "yo....... lata fa this sh*t, im gonna start playin in Yugioh card tournaments, this rap game is boring", and then they just walked off stage. Not a damn thing is happening in hip hop, then out of no where Nicki Minaj drops an album:

 Na.....this is just how I feel, there are plenty of people that are hype about her new joint droppin. Since nothing is really going on in rap right now, I'm just going to speak on a couple things, starting with this Nicki stuff. Yo 1st off let me get this straight, I'm completely happy for shorty and her success, however I'm not gonna pretend like shorty is making pure hip hop classics, she hits you with like 2 verses of real rap and then a truck load of gimmicks, and strange nonsense. Like I said I wanna see her win and do her thing, but she did provide lines such as:

"I'm a star......Sheriff badge"

"bite me.......apple sign"

"I get it crackin like a bad back"

"oh you was sleepin on me ZzZzZzZ"

"is that why I get more head than shampoos"

"go against me nowwwwwww, I dare(deer) you....... bambi"

 "and buss this pu**y open in the islands of waikikiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii"

and I could go on all day with these. I guess not every one wants some next ridiculous, complicated, overwhelming word play, and that's cool. As I said already I hope that she acquires many mansions, cars, and wigs, cause I want her to win. Its just .........her gimmick "game" is on some next intergalactic movements:

 I know we are having a mutual feeling of "WTF". Look, how I see it, there are 3 types of people that like her:

1. People that are happy to see anybody blow up and be successful. (ME)

2. People that find her antics hilarious.(ME)

3. Girls who have no direction, self esteem, and were probably molested by their fathers at a young age, and believe that they are barbies.(NOT ME)

Yo!.....this is not all about Nicki, so let me get on to the other things I wanted to touch on.



Some people might be more worried about important issues like the whole Trayvon Martin issue, but I'm going to tell a whimsical tale of wonder and tragedy that seems to be more important to people. Once upon a time, iPhone users  were an elite Illuminati group and all the members of the group took sh*ts that smelled like potpourri, and they woke up every morning to angels playing flutes by their bedside, until one day they woke up and there was a dark ominous cloud over their community. A man on a horse came galloping out the clouds and stood before all iphone users. Not knowing what their faith would be, the entire community trembled in fear. The horseman pulled out a scroll, opened it up, and read in a deathly, grim, and crackled voice, "Android now has Instagram"...........................
A morbid silence covered the community, then peoples heads started exploding, families started committing mass suicides, and men began to form groups of resistance.



Na, seriously though this was a  big issue for the last few days. ( I don't know why) If you're one of those iPhone users upset about this please kill your self, thanks.

Let me get back to hip hop though. Many people have been expressing hate towards certain artists such as Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean, and Wale. There are more but these seem to be the main ones people hate, particularly those 90's rap heads. What I need you guys to understand is not all listeners can take in such profound lyrics like what Lupe spits out. These new rap fans will never understand Fabolous's grittier punch lines. They still don't know what Lil Wayne meant when he said "real G's move in silence like lasagna". Most of these new rap heads were around the age range of 5 when Biggie, Big Pun, and Pac died, and when they grew up and started listening to rap, Ja- rule was singing all over the place. These people can't take in technical flows, and puzzling punch lines, so should they just be left out of rap? Retarded people, Handicapped people, and midgets still get to go into theme parks and such, they just can't mess with every ride or access all the facilities. The concept is similar when it comes to rap. You have people who can't mess with the more intense aspects of the art form so there are artists specified for them. These artists put together very simple melodies and lyrics so that the "handicapped", "retarded", and "midget" listeners can be rap fans as well.......feel me? So what I like to call this type of rap is, "Diet rap" or "Rap lite" if you will.

 You see how that same dark cloud that the iPhone users had to deal with just hovered over your picnic and rained fire on everything.

Yea so you can look out for these reviews. I don't really mess with holidays like that, I just indulge in the benefits of them, but for the sake of you guys.........HAPPY EASTER!
